Batobus
The Batobus service, contrary to information in some guidebooks, does not close down over the winter period (or part of it). If you look at the Batobus website it states the service runs 365 days a year (and I guess 366 in a leap year). This is great for me, as I love travelling on calm water. It certainly beats the crush of peak hour metro.
There are nine stops along the route:
- Eiffel Tower
- Musée d’Orsay
- Saint-Germain-des-Prés
- Notre-Dame
- Jardin des Plantes / Cité de la Mode et du Design
- Hôtel de Ville
- Louvre
- Champs-Élysées
- Beaugrenelle
Passes are available for one day (17 euros), two consecutive days (19 euros) and one year (60 euros). (Full price)
